The Gordon Webster band at Collingwood Town Hall. This event will have groovy, bluesy tunes suitable for slow lindy, blues, and slow bal.
Theme: Smooth Sailing
Late Night (12:30am to 3:30am):
Leigh Barker and band at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance.
Theme: By the Sea
Saturday November 21st
Musicality Class (Add-on) (11:30am to 1pm):
A 90 minute class on musicality with Gordon Webster, based in solo jazz, with movement and ideas that can be applied to partner dancing. (Please note this is an add-on class and not included in the MLX Social Pass).
Main Event (8pm to 12am):

Late Night (12:30am to 4am):

Our special after party at Wheat, Wine and Whiskey.

WHAT IS MLX?
Melbourne Lindy Exchange
The Melbourne Lindy Exchange is a social dance event for swing dancers. Before the internet, social exchanges were where dancers came together to learn from each other on the social floor, and we are proud to run MLX in the same tradition. We pride ourselves on bringing you great live jazz and DJs to play a variety of music and tempos.
MLX is organised by the Melbourne Jazz Dance Association (MJDA), a not-for-profit organisation formed especially to run the exchange.
